The primary responsibilities of the role are to provide specialist neuropsychological assessment for adults with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions as well as providing a range of psychological therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions, drawing on different psychological models and employing a range of modalities adapted and tailored to the needs of the individual. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the field of cognitive and neurobehavioural rehabilitation as you will be working with a large MDT which includes a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, as well as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and specialist nurses.
I think it is more sensible to book with the tour company you go with, mainly because of safety, insurance etc. You will probably pay a bit more, but for me peace of mind is worth a lot, the ones I have been on, have been so well organised and have superb guides, with good English.
